WELCOME
My jewellery and accessories are designed and made in my bothy, next to my home in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. There I have space to experiment with materials, explore forms and their complementary surface decoration. I introduce colour and added dimension to my silver pieces through selected use of semi precious stones and leather. My constant source of inspiration is derived from mid 20th century Art and Design, Scandinavian decorative arts and contemporary architecture. I continually strive to develop my practice and am currently exploring the traditional methods of weaving, which I am gradually introducing into my work. Laser cutting is a new area of development for me. It is opening up the possibilities of working with new materials and batch production of components which challenges my design and making methods.
